KU80 Ninlakarn, New rice variety with colored pericarp

Healthy colored rice, KU80 Ninlakarn, is a non-photosensitive, erect plant type with an average height of 69 centimeters. Plus, the brown rice is long grain and dark purple pericarp with high homozygosity. Including KU80 Ninlakarn, the rice grains with dark purple pericarp consist of anthocyanin, proanthocyanidin, bioflavonoids, and vitamin E, which are antioxidants that detect and deter free radicals, supporting the effective function of our immune system. Moreover, KU80 Ninlakarn can be grown in diverse environments. In terms of produce, the rice grains can be harvested within around 120 days, granting the produce of 750-800 kilograms per rai.
