KU ARDA 20 Peanuts

Thailand has imported peanuts from overseas, which cost multi-billions of baht because the domestic produce is inadequate compared to the overall consumption. Professor Rangsarit Kaweeta and the research team from Kasetsart University developed KU ARDA 20 variety, The average yield around 393 kg /rai (dry pods). The age of harvest is 100-110 days. A pod contains 2-4 seeds. 100 seeds weigh 59 grams. This variety is also disease-resistant. For product of this variety can be process into wafers, fresh peanuts, and boiled peanuts. The value of the produce and profits of the agriculturists was raised because of the high-quality peanut production. And the amount of produce is sufficient for the domestic market.
