Genetic Improvement in Asian seabass (Lates calcarifer)

Samut Songkhram Fisheries Research Station, Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University has established breeding program for fast growing strain in Asian seabass based. Four Asian seabass populations were evaluated for growth performance and the best population was selected. The genomic information revealed high genetic variation for growths.
