The Macadamia tree is highly demanded in the market because its seed has a creamy taste and good aroma and is rich in several nutrients and vitamins. Phetchabun Research Station has grown a total of 4 varieties of macadamia trees: Chiangmai 344cc, Chiangmai 508, Chiangmai 660, and Chiangmai 741. Each variety provides a high nut yield and is well diseases-resistant.
