International conference at the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology of Taiwan Kindly remember to complete the registration before November 22, 2021

Traditional food processing techniques have been practiced for a long time. However, these old technologies cannot meet many of consumers’ demands such as providing gently processed, high-quality, and chemical-free foods. In this regard, scientists have explored the potential of emerging processing technologies to be employed as alternatives to conventional food processing technologies.  This international symposium, supported by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan (ROC) and hosted by the College of Agriculture of NPUST, brings renowned international researchers in the field of emerging processing technologies along with experts from the industry to provide information about these technologies for students, faculties, and food industry. Speakers include Dr. Brijesh K. Tiwari (Teagasc Food Research Centre, Ireland), Dr. Małgorzata Nowacka (Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland), Dr. Mahendran Radhakrishnan (Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology, India), Dr. Mohsen Gavahian (National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan), Dr. Jango Chang (AP Plasma Corporation, Taiwan), Dr. Chao-Chin Chung (Jinlife Biotech Co., Ltd, Taiwan).

It aims to familiarize students understanding of concepts of some important emerging technologies, promote research in this area of science, and exchange information between academia and industry.

It is expected that attendees learn more about the concepts and trends in emerging food processing technologies, NPUST helps with extending scientific research and industrial collaborations in this area.
